IARC Summer School 2025 live sessions start today with the first module, “Introduction to Cancer Epidemiology”

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) Summer School 2025 begins face-to-face instruction today at the IARC headquarters building in Lyon, France. Two modules are running this year: “Introduction to Cancer Epidemiology”, on 23–27 June, and “Implementing Cancer Prevention and Early Detection”, on 30 June–4 July.

The 72 participants from 43 countries completed the online preparatory activities – including self-paced lectures, live sessions, webinars, and project work – earlier in June.

The IARC Summer School offers a unique opportunity for epidemiologists, statisticians, physicians, oncologists, and other public health specialists to learn and benefit from IARC’s expertise.
