Launch of 2026 GICR Interactive Webinar Series

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), through the Global Initiative for Cancer Registry Development (GICR) and its worldwide network of trainers, the GICRNet, is launching the 2026 GICR Interactive Webinar Series, which is a complement to the GICR E-Learning Series. The first webinar sessions will take place throughout February 2026.

Webinar I: “Cancer Registration: An Overview” offers a great opportunity for participants to reinforce key concepts of cancer registration and to strengthen connections with the GICRNet Regional Trainers and with their peers.

The GICR team looks forward to welcoming participants online and continuing its joint efforts to strengthen cancer registration worldwide with locally driven solutions that contribute to global progress.
